What is Mode on Main's Shipping policy?

All orders are processed within 2 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive a separate notification when your order has shipped or is ready for pickup.

Shipping delays during the holidays are expected and unfortunately are out of our hands.

 

What are the Shipping or Pick Up Options?

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within the same day to 2 business days later. We will send you an email when your order is ready for pickup. Our in-store pickup hours are during our store hours. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

Domestic Shipping

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders over a certain amount will be offered free domestic shipping. 

International Shipping

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Mode on Main by Mara is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

What is Mode’s Return Policy?

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

Returns
Our return policy is good for 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, including its original packaging and with tags attached. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All Jewelry Sales are Final.

Holiday Return Policy

To receive a full refund holiday returns may be made up to 14 days after purchase or 14 days after delivery if items were ordered online. Only exchanges will be accepted after that and up till January 7th. 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a two to four business days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Please contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@marahairandmode.com.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you'd like an exchange for a product, you will need to return the item and place a new order. For returns send us an email at sales@marahairandmode.com and send your item to: Mode on Main by Mara, 10417 Main Street, Fairfax VA 22030, United States.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
